Games consist of two 19 minute halves with a 2 minute halftime break. Plus a 5 minute break between the end of one game and the commencement of the following game.
All games are timed by the referee and will start as per the fixture/game times.

Fees and Fines
- Weekly Game Fee - $100 paid prior to the commencement of each game
- Forfeit - Over 8 Days Notice - No fee
- Forfeit - Between 24 hours And 7 days Notice - $80 paid prior to the commencement of next game
- Forfeit - Less Than 24 hours Notice - $100 paid prior to commencement of next game
- No Show Forfeit - $200 paid prior to commencement of next game
- Team Withdrawal Fee - $100

Field markings are approximately 30 metres by 20 metres.
Minimum distance from placed kicks is two metres for the defensive team (side, corner, direct and indirect free kicks).
Penalty awarded to the opposing team if the ball strikes the roof/lights.
Once the ball has left the field of play, the opposing team will take a kick in backwards with the first pass being a “free” pass
Shin guards are recommended for player safety but aren't compulsory.
Goalkeepers may only change when your team has possession in a stoppage. (gk kick, sideline kick in)
For a 7 a side game a minimum of 9 players needs to be registered per team. In the mixed comps there must be a minimum of 3 women on the field of play at any time therefore there must be enough women registered in the Mixed Team to cater for this. Full womens teams can join in the mixed comps.
All players must be registered under their team name.
Each team must have a team Captain/manager
The team Captain is responsible in voicing any concerns or queries to the referee or to a member of staff of The Football Grounds.
Points for game results are as follows: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.
Jewellery or any other accessories must be removed before the commencement of games, or taped to the satisfaction of the referee.
Players understand and accept playing with an existing injury or pregnancy may put their bodies at further risk. Players play at their own risk, and are responsible for arranging and maintaining their own insurance cover.
Substitutions can happen at any time in the game once the player has left the field of play.
The referee doesn't need to be informed of the substitution.
All players within a team must be in matching coloured uniforms at the commencement of games.
If there is a clash in colour of playing uniforms, the team deemed the Away team will then wear bibs provided by The Football Grounds.
Bibs can also be provided by The Football Grounds if any players don't have the correct colour of their team.
Games will only commence if the team has a minimum of 1 goalkeeper and 4 outfield players. If the required amount of players fail to show, the game will be deemed as a forfeit.
Cautions and Dismissals
Depending on levels of foul play in matches, Referees have the option of branding players with a yellow card or red card.
Referees will liaise with Team Captains if there is excessive rough play or offensive language or any other profanities that the referee sees or hears.
A yellow card will constitute a caution.
If a player receives 5 yellow cards throughout the duration of the season they will receive a 1 match suspension for the following week.
2 yellow cards or a straight red card will result in the player missing the remainder of the game.
Suspensions will not include any forfeits.

Soccer boots (moulded) and indoor shoes are accepted. No metal studs.
Puma Game balls are provided.
Teams must provide their own colour matched kits or uniforms. Puma kits can be purchased through sportsclique at the Football Grounds.
Players understand and acknowledge that The Football Grounds purchases or leases the equipment from a third party and therefore does not manufacture any of the fitness or other equipment used in the venue.
Players understand and acknowledge that The Football Grounds is providing recreational services and may not be held liable for defective products or equipment.
The score card will be used for the official result.
Team captains are to check and sign the scorecard at the end of the game. Once team captains have signed the scorecard it is final. No further changes can be made and no disputes will be entered into regarding the score or any suspensions/cards.
If no players of a team arrive in time to play their game, then this will be considered a No Show and a No Show forfeit fine will apply.
If some players of a team are ready to play, however they do not have the required numbers to take the pitch, this will be considered a forfeit and the Less Than Twenty Four Hours forfeit fine will apply.
All forfeit fines are due prior to the commencement of the team’s next game. A team cannot take the pitch if any fines are outstanding.
Failure to pay any outstanding fine within the required timeframe will result in suspension from the tournament until the fine is paid.
Play will be stopped by officials if a player is bleeding, injured or ill.
The decision to stop play shall be at the discretion of the Referee.
Stoppage will occur for up to one minute. If the incident has not been rectified after one minute the player must be substituted and then play may continue.
The Referee's clock continues running and no time will be added for any stoppage.
All players play at their own risk. It is recommended that all players have suitable insurance. The Football Grounds will not be held liable for any injuries that occur as a result of playing in the tournaments.
All games are timed by the Referee and the clock will start running as per the fixtured game time.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your game start time. Ensure your game fee is paid.
A team will be considered late if payment hasn’t been received or the team is not ready to play at the commencement of the game.
Games will not start unless the team is up to date on all payments.
Players should be ready to move on to the pitch at the conclusion of the previous game.
Liability for Property
The Football Grounds is not liable to you for any personal property that is damaged, lost, or stolen whilst on or around the Centre including, but not limited to, a vehicle or its contents or any property left in The Football Grounds.
If you cause damage to the venue or any equipment you are liable to The Football Grounds for its cost of repair or replacement.
Code of Conduct
The Football Grounds has a strict policy regarding players' code of behaviour.
Players that are deemed to be aggressive, disrespectful, unsportsmanlike towards other players, match officials or staff of The Football Grounds will be dealt with accordingly depending on the incident.
The Football Grounds staff will liaise with match officials and then decide on the appropriate penalty.
Penalties include player suspensions, team suspensions or team bans from participating at The Football Grounds.
Team Captains/managers will be held responsible for team behaviour, with all communication occurring through the Team Captain/manager, to the match official or a member of staff.
Conditions of Entering a Team
Team names which are deemed inappropriate or offensive will be changed at The Football Grounds's discretion prior to the season starting.
Insufficient team numbers may result in nights being combined.
Player & Spectator Code of Behaviour
The team Captain/manager is responsible for all players and spectators associated with the team.
The team Captain/manager is the only person allowed to approach Referees for questions and/or clarifications. Referees may only be approached during the half time or at the end of the game.
Offensive language is not permitted or tolerated.
Playing under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is not permitted or tolerated.
Fighting of any nature is not permitted or tolerated.
Unsportsmanlike conduct on or off the pitch is not permitted or tolerated.
Any breach of the Player and Spectator Code of Behaviour may result in the offender(s) being required to leave The Football Grounds.
If necessary The Football Grounds reserves the right to suspend or remove a team or player from the competition for any breach of the Player Code of Behaviour.
